Breakfast
 
Sun Pancake

Ingredients
•1 cup Original Pancake mix
•1 boiled egg
•Blue berries
•Pancake Mix
•Cheddar
•Mozzarella

Directions
1. Use the pancake mix to create the pancake.
2. Slice boiled egg width-wise and add two blueberries for pupils to form the eyes.
3. Arrange more blueberries to make the smile.
4. Cut two slices of cheese—cheddar and mozzarella in a zig-zag pattern, layer and arrange around the pancake to form the rays of the sun.


Lunch

Teddy Bear Sandwiches

Ingredients

•3/4 pound unsliced bologna, finely chopped (3 cups)
•6 ounces American cheese, cut into 1/4-inch cubes (1 1/2 cups)
•1/3 cup sweet pickle relish
•1/3 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
•4 large honey-wheat steak or sandwich buns (4 1/2 inches each), split
•16 small wheat turkey buns (3 inches each), split
•20 small leaf lettuce leaves
•1 pitted ripe olive, cut in half
•1 piece red bell pepper
Directions
1. Mix bologna, cheese, relish and mayonnaise.
2 Line bottoms of large and small buns with lettuce.
3. Spread with bologna mixture; add tops of buns.
4. Cut 2 large buns in half. Cut 2 small buns in half.
5. Arrange whole large buns and bun halves for bear body and head on serving tray, as shown in photo.
6. Add 4 small bun halves for ears and arms.
7. Add 2 whole small buns for legs.
8. Add olive halves for eyes and bell pepper for mouth.
9. Arrange remaining sandwiches on separate platter to serve with bear.


Dinner

Chili and Cheese Mini Pasta Pies

Ingredients
•1/2 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
•1 teaspoon chili powder
•1 cup hot water
•1 1/2 cups milk
•1 box Hamburger Helper™ cheeseburger macaroni
•1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz)
•1 can (16.3 oz) Pillsbury™ Grands!™ refrigerated buttermilk biscuits

Directions
1. Heat oven to 350°F. In 10-inch skillet, cook beef over medium-high heat 5 to 7 minutes, stirring frequently, until brown; drain. Stir in chili powder.
2. Stir in hot water and milk, sauce mix and uncooked pasta (from Hamburger Helper box).
3. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 14 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. Remove from heat; uncover. Stir in 1/2 cup of the cheese.
5. Separate dough into 8 biscuits.
6. Press or roll each to form 5 1/2-inch round.
7. Firmly press 1 biscuit in bottom and up side of each of 8 ungreased jumbo muffin cups, forming 1/4-inch rim.
8. Fill with macaroni mixture; sprinkle with remaining cheese.
9. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 1 minute. Loosen edges with knife; remove from muffin cups.



Dessert

Snack Necklaces

Ingredients
•Yarn or string, cut into necklace-length strands
•Tape
•Cheerios
•Other circular-shaped snack foods (salty, fruity, or chocolaty)

Directions
1. Place tape on the ends of the strings to allow easy stringing of food.
2. Take string and place string through the circular-shaped snacks.
3. If you’re making three necklaces separate each string with salty snacks, fruity snacks and chocolaty snacks.
4. Have fun with your child and enjoy this yummy and quick desert.
